FROM MEDITATION

        Section VI.

Sitting in the Quiet of my Self, listening,
I reflect on what my life has meant to me.
It is all that I am.
It is not what I have done,
good or bad.

Breaking the bread among friends
is a wonderful time of sharing...
not of the bread, but of yourself.

Come along with me to the Land
where Dancing in the Light
is the only activity,
where all Dance without fear
and Love without restraint.

It is inevitable
that one is always who they are.
Why is that so difficult to accept?

When you come to the Altar,
set aside all your cares and burdens.
Since the Altar is Everpresent,
Why not set them aside now?

What is seen as separate is yet One.
So, why not see it as it is?

When all is said and done,
and the Stars have turned on the
Celestial Axis for billions of years,
memory of all temporal things
will be Peacefully absent.
Why not also today?

Wanting is in Opposition to Having
and is the Reason for the Delusion
of Not Having and of Getting.

Having All Things
is the Awareness of Oneness.
It is impossible to not have,
for everything is you.

I've worked all my Life at this goal,
and tomorrow, I will become a better person;
and then I'll go to Heaven.
I'm not Satisfied
with simply being perfect today.
