Section II.
Walking through the world
on a beautiful Spring Day
I once saw a lovely vision of God.
I do hope I see you again.
Can we resume our laughter
and feeling pleasant without judging
when someone rudely says,
"@$%#@!!!&%&#@!!!" (
EDITED
)
The cannibal of the Heart
is the embodiment of the Fear
our mind invents to avoid
partaking of the things of Peace.
In the sweet stillness of a child's sleep
is the loving core of all existence.
Do all things with remembrance of this
and smile as you do them.
Making love is sweet.
If there is anything else in this world,
Choose not to know about it.
Being love is resonant.
The sweetness of that chord
is beyond calculating.
"I am come to ease your weary mind."
saith the Lord.
Now just Who, I wonder . . .
uses "I AM" to refer to themself?
Turn within to the Kingdom of God
and call on the Name of the Lord.
When the echoes fade, ponder who it might
be that you are talking to within yourself.
I thought long and hard
on what might possibly be
the "RIGHT" thing to do;
I searched my feelings
for every hint and clue.
And then I realized I knew
what to do . . . if anything,
and in the Silence,
I BECAME AWARE of something
beyond thought,
beyond feeling,
beyond doing
. . . . . MYSELF.
