Playing with the Infinite Conversation with a Simplistic Meditation Group Member (edited)
LightDancer has entered the conference...
Member: Hi there :) hows things going for ya? LightDancer: hi kiddo LightDancer: good and lousy LightDancer: subject to interpretation from moment to moment LightDancer: found a nice download online.....with a free version and a paid version.....been messing with that since yesterday LightDancer: a few glitches as usual, but none that are a problem Member: good and lousy...interesting combination Member: hmmm Member: how come you feel lousy? LightDancer: oh, just because I have expectations in life that don't get met, things never quite go as planned, and fear always tries to lurk LightDancer: however, everything is truly fine Member: oh...those nasty little expectations :P LightDancer: and of course, there's always the everpresent self-accusation crap Member: understood Member: i just got back from australia and new zealand LightDancer: then I calm down and realize.....hey, it's okay......this spirit thing came to me and sought me out.....so it must think I'm worth more than I did at the time LightDancer: what fun!! Member: expectations got the better of me too...i was in a pretty bad way...but am feeling better LightDancer: been having trouble getting a permanent job for many years now Member: definitely a learning experience Member: hmmm LightDancer: and lately, it has been more important to keep working and try to setup a retirement or something to have later LightDancer: guess I'll just have to trust spirit whether I want to or not LOL Member: :) LightDancer: actually, I was just sitting in the recliner today resting a moment, and spirit started showing me some really neat stuff.....did a little yesterday too......been awhile since stuff that clear came through when not teaching, writing or whatever Member: your needs have always been met, have they not? LightDancer: always Member: anything you can share with me? LightDancer: which is more than a lot of people can say Member: yes... LightDancer: not sure how much I could remember right now LightDancer: didn't write it down, but I know the understanding will come through more and more LightDancer: it always does LightDancer: I used to worry about that and try to write everything down LightDancer: but not that much anymore unless I happen to feel like writing at the time Member: yeah..i know what you mean LightDancer: yesterday, I was being shown part of how illusions become illusions Member: hhmmm LightDancer: and today, more about the function of illusions, which started yesterday LightDancer: then the thing about to be god or not to be god LightDancer: you know? LightDancer: are we separate or are we not separate Member: we are both LightDancer: it always seems so ambiguous.....but today, it was clearing up quite a bit Member: another one of those divine dichotomy things Member: in the realm of the relative we are separate..in the realm of the absolute we are not LightDancer: we are god creation whereas the one we call god is god creator....both the same god substance.....but we are the recipients of the gift of that substance in a timeless wholeness outside of time, where we literally can be exactly as god.....but we would rather accept the gift of the kingdom and play in time Member: i'm thinking i'd rather live in the realm of the absolute :) Member: either way..we are still god LightDancer: many people think that.....and that is great.....but just how that slide over the line occurs may help people see they do not need to take the reins of government, but can simply share in its administration of love LightDancer: yes LightDancer: a model came to me and kinda stuck with me LightDancer: similar to the big bang in a way Member: ok.. LightDancer: although not a literal going away from center LightDancer: I may write on all this later on if the mood strikes me Member: cool..would like to read it when you finish :) LightDancer: it's a little like riding space mountain at Disneyland Member: :) LightDancer: we fly like a bat out of heaven through the universe that we are one with....narrowing our vision to enjoy the journey that never was......and as we narrow, we feel the holy spirit's pull of atonement drawing us back, and go through illusions from the denial of the narrowing........and the intuitive channel to spirit draws us back Member: i like that analogy :) LightDancer: the universe is greener on the other side of the orbit so to speak......so round and round we go.......and there is such an infinite array of that round, that with a little forgetting, it seems to never end Member: i'm not certain it does end LightDancer: we could "go home" if we truly truly wanted.....but beneath our desire to go home is also the desire to fly......and at home, we cannot fly........so we dive off the pinnacle and do cool stuff LightDancer: no, it doesn't really end......but when we are in the finite, the finite does have limits, but we forget as we learn, making even the finite approximate infinity....at least to our narrowed point of view Member: at home..we just know..we dont have the experience of knowing LightDancer: it's like we become a time processor, creating time, then sucking it into us and blowing it out, creating the illusion of both time and motion Member: i dont think there are limits LightDancer: limits to the cycle of finiteness, but no limits to the infinite stage that framework is hung in Member: hmmm LightDancer: so if the finite limitations are there, but the dimensions of the framework continually shift, the limits never get reached Member: perhaps LightDancer: the universe of the finite appearing as more and more ahead of us in any direction, and yet disappearing behind us at any seeming distance LightDancer: then revamping and putting on a new face and coming into view ahead of us again LightDancer: but all of that infinitely interwoven LightDancer: a little as described in Seth books LightDancer: time is both a tool and a toy once we learn to not let it rule us LightDancer: I have spontaneously experienced major time slow down / speed up.....without drugs......and it was really amazing LightDancer: you slow down and the stuff going on around you seems to be going so fast, it just doesn't make sense......faster than those high speed films they use in some commercials Member: i understand..i feel i have too..but its not something i could really explain to anyone LightDancer: happened to me while in prayer......I was bored and feeling silly, so prayed silly things, and when it happened, I popped my eyes open and couldn't believe it LightDancer: LOL LightDancer: guess it wasn't so silly after all Member: can i talk to you about something..that has been disturbing me for awhile now? LightDancer: I was nuts in those days......maybe I shoulda stayed nuts Member: seeing as how you mentioned it;) LightDancer: sure Member: its about prayer Member: i've felt for the past several months...that i didnt know who to pray to LightDancer: (I know that feeling) Member: so lately..i've mostly just been talking to whoever.whatever LightDancer: today even LightDancer: me2 LightDancer: lol LightDancer: and I enjoy it and laugh Member: i wish i could come to some understanding of that LightDancer: I am sure it doesn't matter LightDancer: really Member: well, i keep doing it...but i wonder just who it is i'm really talking to or asking for help LightDancer: you are actually speaking to several Member: sometimes seems like i'm just talking to me..ya know? LightDancer: yourself Member: :) LightDancer: to the idea of a separate god LightDancer: to guides and angels LightDancer: which I have never experienced, but many have LightDancer: for all I know, the "spirit" that has given me so much was actually ushered to me by these LightDancer: but I guess the point is it really doesn't matter Member: yeah..ok LightDancer: because you open yourself to the god that is real LightDancer: and the god that is real is already there giving the single gift LightDancer: speaking the single word Member: thats kind of what i was thinking...i guess its just my rational mind that "thinks" my prayers need to be directed to someone or something in particular LightDancer: and as you turn to it and open, it is more fully apprehended and more clearly comprehended LightDancer: I know LightDancer: when I get frustrated, I pray......like ok you all out there / in there.....here/me......there/god......helpers over there/in here guides, whatever and whoever......thanks......and here's the deal.......I need some outer stuff whether it's real or not OK!!!!!???? Member: LOL LightDancer: then I get laughing about how completely ignorant that sounds LightDancer: it really does LightDancer: which brings us to the crux of the matter I suppose Member: actually i feel like that sounds more truthfull than what alot of others do LightDancer: it is good to pray......however, it is better to understand what prayer really is LightDancer: and then to understand what pure meditation really is Member: yes LightDancer: then what is received in pure meditation can drive the truck that is automatically praying for you 24-7.......and your transmission so to speak begins to align with the reality flowing through your intuitive LightDancer: meditation in, prayer out LightDancer: but all one needs to do is act like a chameleon Member: i guess i just get hung up on doing this properly when in truth ...just however one wants to do it ..simply IS....being there isnt a right way or a wrong way LightDancer: one eye on spirit in meditation and the other eye checking out what you like in the world and seeing what spirit is manifesting to you in agreement with your prayer, and with your prayer in agreement with your meditation LightDancer: as far as the prayer ideas we were taught, mostly they are entirely unnecessary in any form Member: i've thought that too LightDancer: for to decide to pray and to decide what to pray for and to decide how to pray for it and to decide who to pray to for it and to decide if we're worthy of being heard LightDancer: gets to be a lot of deciding Member: well, thats what life is about is it not? choices? LightDancer: and what is so is so in precisely the same way, quality and volume no matter what you do LightDancer: no LightDancer: and yes LOL Member: i understand....lol LightDancer: no in reality, and yes in the world of appearances Member: another of those divine dichotomy things :P:P LightDancer: which is where we choose to keep our eyes posted it seems Member: i'm choosing to look at things on a different level Member: on a more evolved level Member: on a more spiritually evolved level LightDancer: spirit is equal throughout its immeasureable self.....which fact can never be proven, for the infinite can never be defined or mapped in order to prove it LightDancer: in other words, I cannot get closer to spirit LightDancer: and yet, I can pay more attention to it LightDancer: and in so doing, I can then be automatically relating to it from a more enlightened point of view due to my looking at the light more LightDancer: so while it never changes, and does not change what it is giving or how, it will be experienced by me as change LightDancer: I may listen and say spirit is now speaking to me, but it isn't speaking to me now any more than it was 20 years ago......I just happened to be willing to notice it and listen Member: yes..attention..i do understand..and that is what i am referring to when i speak of living a more spiritually evolved life Member: yes, exactly LightDancer: specifically because it draws me by its atonement function to notice it and listen LightDancer: which is why we need not worry so much about the seeming evil......it is not evil, it is the charge-appearance in the finite coaxing the individual to notice, then listen, then align, then pray aright because of the alignment, and then to begin moving more toward peace Member: define what you mean by atonement please? LightDancer: to us it may seem to be a time-based process......but really, the entire scenario is moving toward peace......for there is no direction one can go and not move toward peace......and since it is everywhere, it cannot be moved away from Member: understood LightDancer: atonement is an energy in the finite that requires a balancing back to the peace of god in the eternal when one moves their attention in mind away from the light of the presence (from their inner center point of view) Member: ok..ty LightDancer: energy itself is not real......but is the result of illusion that occurs when the atonement law is invoked by choosing Member: hmmmmm LightDancer: simple example.....there is only one and we may know that......and yet, we are free to give attention or withhold attention LightDancer: when we withhold, the simple law of atonement (which is also the law of love) LightDancer: is invoked and arises out of the peace in eternity into the illusion of time, which is also the illusion of learning and other tools the atonement function of spirit in our minds uses to create us in the now always......no matter how it seems to us at any moment LightDancer: we relax, we give love/attention as we are given, all is peace LightDancer: we vex our mind/spirit.....and soul (the atonement function of spirit and the law of love that is our createdness) reminds us we are not praying well (not giving as we are given to) LightDancer: kinda like a kid putting their hands on a hot stove LightDancer: we're just relaxing and begin to not pay attention and ouch!!! the illusion of pain and harm seem so real LightDancer: and yet they are not LightDancer: just signals and varying levels of symbolic addressing of the mind of spirit |
