CHOOSING, WISDOM, FAITH, LOVE (ACIM) - 2002
Excerpts from an MDC Chat

The instruction to "choose again" is actually the call to your mind to pause and listen to what spirit has already shown you, and to weigh these words (choose again) by discernment to see what is "truly" intended by them in terms of instruction. Upon so doing, one sees that "choosing" is impossible and "again" is also impossible. "Choosing" requires duality which isn't so, and always requires time which you do not need (but which has been given to you until you are willing to accept the truth). "Again," is about time and repetitiveness, both of which speak of attack and denial only. Nothing real can be done, or chosen, or done again. A similar inner lesson was offered to the Hebrews when they were told they were a "chosen people," the seed of a special one. It seemes few if any heard the real instruction behind those words either.

Wisdom and faith are inseparable. Whereas love crosses the boundary between the real and unreal as intuition (the atonement, or "the course"), bringing awareness of peace to a weary world, faith brings that love before the mind's eye so that the mind can see that belief and faith are incompatible. Wisdom is the response from the heart that wants the faith substance it sees within, and begins more and more to look to it and rely upon it, restoring the mind to its firm foundation of peace as joy.

Love is everywhere present and wisdom is potential everywhere within that reality. We can either accept it (which is not a choice but is willingness), or we can choose against it. Therefore ACIM tells people having made the mistake of not accepting, and choosing (instead of accepting), to choose again......and again...and again...and again...and again...until finally they cry out, "There "must" be a better way! And indeed there is...accepting love where it is.

Actually, there is nothing such as wisdom without love. Such an idea is a corruption of meaning (or removal of meaning) of both terms.
